Mon Bijou Petit Stencilled Slate Tile Topped Wooden Box

The stencilled slate topped box is made from wood with a piece of slate set into the top of it.  The wood has been finished with a light grey stain which allows the grain of the wood to show through and contrasts against the deep colour and texture of the slate.  The effect has been completed with a decorative heart stencilled onto the slate with the saying "Mon Bijou Petit".  The box has metal hinges and a decorative metal clasp on the front.
